Aromas of baked apple, golden pear, lemon, and baking spice lead into a medium-bodied palate with layers of ginger, citrus zest, and brioche. The finish is long and lively, bringing richness and freshness together beautifully.

The 2023 blend draws from distinguished vineyard sites, including Rochioli, Allen, and Olivet Lane. Rochioli and Allen contribute concentration and structure, while Olivet Lane’s Wente-clone Chardonnay adds brightness. An unusually cool, extended growing season allowed the grapes to develop complex flavors while retaining their natural acidity.

Carefully hand-sorted and gently pressed, the fruit was fermented and aged in French oak barrels and puncheons, with 30% new oak. Ten months on the primary lees added texture and depth while preserving the wine’s vibrant fruit character.

Expert Rating

93 Points — Wine Enthusiast
A whisper of flint, green apple and sage aromas drive the nose of this Chardonnay.
