Herzog Special Reserve Reserve Chardonnay is a cool, terroir-oriented wine.
While the Russian River Valley's unique climate contributes top notes of lime, chamomile, and tropical fruit, this lovely wine is overlaid with a bouquet of toasty vanilla and oak.

Sourced from the province of Vicenza in the Veneto, the heartland of Italian sparkling wine, this is a 90% Glera and 10% Pinot Noir blend harvested by hand and crafted with genuine care: grapes are gently crushed and soft-pressed before primary fermentation, followed by a slow secondary fermentation at low temperature lasting over two months, and three months of maturation on yeast lees before bottling. The result has real texture and precision for its category.

Beit El Or Yakar Cabernet Sauvignon is made from estate-grown grapes in Israel’s central mountain range. Aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels, this wine has a deep purple-black color and concentrated flavors.

Expect tastes of plum and warm blackberries, complemented by pleasant tannins and a long finish. This complex yet approachable Cabernet Sauvignon is both enjoyable now and suitable for aging.

The high-altitude, north-facing Scopus Vineyard harnesses a blend of lush California flavor tempered with cool-climate structure hanging on firm acidity and moderate body. Stone fruit, citrus and spice come to mind on the palate, all marked by the vineyard’s classic mineral core. There’s a modest hint of toasty oak framing the ensemble, which ends long and fresh.

Expert Review - Prior Vintage 2022

93 points Wine & Spirits | 2022 marks the fourteenth vintage for Covenant® Chardonnay Lavan®. The wine is made from grapes grown in a small vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. Jeff began working with this vineyard -- called Scopus -- back in 2010, when he made some Chardonnay for the vineyard's owners. He liked the wine so much, that he decided to make Scopus Vineyard the core of our Lavan® program the next year.
