Winemaker Description 

Sarpa, the bridge between the past and the future. This Grappa was conceived in 1983, but it took a few years to see the light of day. The goal was clear in my mind: a Grappa to encase the aromas of Tradition, but without the typical flaws of old fashion Grappas, often stingy, aggressive and oily. It had to be an authentic Grappa, sincere and genuine, what one would now call a classic Grappa.

Moreover, it was meant to be a bridge between the Grappa of the past and the Grappa of the future, representing the present of Grappa with its best typical features. It took some time to figure out which vines to use and after various trials I turned to the timeless Bordeaux blend, that mix of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that gave rise to the best wines in the world, the Bordeaux wines.

These vines have successfully been grown in the Veneto region for a long time and it seemed just natural to use them to try to produce a symbolic Grappa, the Grappa that should have embodied years of experience and passion. 

Sarpa di Poli has a robust, almost rustic character, with pleasantly grassy scents that remind of freshly cut grass, an aroma of wine and red flowers like geranium, rose and violet that make it a timeless classic.

Luxardo Limoncello — Italy

Luxardo has been one of Italy’s most celebrated liqueur producers since 1821, and their Limoncello is a direct expression of that heritage — made according to a family recipe dating back to 1905. What sets it apart is the production method: Luxardo uses the whole lemon fruit, from the peels to the pulp to the juice, sourced from lemons harvested at peak ripeness in southern Italy. No shortcuts, no artificial flavoring — just the full, natural brightness of Italian lemons captured in a bottle. The result is a limoncello of remarkable authenticity and balance. Kosher.

There’s an entire botanical universe of aroma happening here including sassafras, root beer, sage, rosemary, basil, parsley, white pepper. Taste-wise, the attributes appreciated in the bouquet are all present and accounted for the flavor, which is crisp, incredibly bitter, yet stunning in its earthy, woodsy elegance.

Thirteen herbs and spices have gone into Dave Fletcher's wonderful Acobia Bitter Vino, which is two more than the Colonel managed for KFC's secret recipe.

Certified organic Arneis was the base for the alcohol into which the herbs were infused. It's full of citrus, cherry cola, and a myriad of other flavours. It has great length and vibrancy, with a full-bodied feel.

Producer Description

Amber-colored, this grappa is very smooth at the taste, but never mawkish. In its aromatic profile the ranges of fruit and spices are predominant and that's right in the grappa with a long aging and a high quality standard.

In the range of fruity tastes we can catch the one of the dry fruit, so rare to find; together with the candied fruit, the raisins and the prune we can feel the fruit in syrup, the jam and the citrus. In the range of spices the flavor of the barrel is dominating, together with pepper, licorice, tobacco and clove.

The 12-year aging process transforms the raw, high-toned character of young grappa into a complex, mellow, and brandy-like spirit:

Winemaker Description 

Enrico Toro Amaro is a liqueur with a perfect balance: not too bitter nor too sweet. With the addition of Centerba 72 herbs, Centerba Toro is present throughout giving this liqueur an intense and unmistakable bitter quality. There is a powerful entry of fresh herbs and clove.

The Cherry Brandy by Pojer and Sandri is obtained from two varieties of cherries: 70% Stevnsbaer and 30% Schattenmorelle. The distillation takes place through an innovative discontinuous bain-marie still.

This distillate is part of the most traditional brandies, but unlike those produced in Switzerland, the Black Forest or Alsace, this one uses sour cherries (marasca) instead of sweet ones, which results in a more delicate product. The taste is smooth, rich, velvety, tannic and harmonious, exploding at the back of the mouth with authoritative aromas and long-lasting persistence, leaving notes of vanilla, almond, cocoa, tobacco, licorice and walnut bread. 

Producer Description 

This traditional grappa has a bright, crystal clear color. The aroma is aromatic, intense, enveloping the nose with fine, fresh fragrant and delicate floral notes of breir rose petals, orange blossoms, lily of the valley, elderberry, sage, citrus fruit and typical Moscato scents.

The fruit comes through on the smooth, well-rounded palate, with apple and pineapple dominant. There are background notes of bread crust. 

Winemaker Description 

Made from Moscato d'Asti pomace. Transparent and clear in color; aromatic and distinctively delightful aroma. Intense yet smooth and aromatic flavor. 

Water white in color with aromas of white peach and apple blossoms. Smooth and clean on the palate with warm flavors of stone fruit and freshly cut grass.
