The Reverdys are one of the appellation's essential winemaking families and they have thoroughly mastered elegant and delicious Sancerre. Winemaker Julie Guiard simply has the right touch, making her Sancerre one of the most universally gratifying white wines out there. In the village of Verdigny, Reverdy's vineyards feature two of Sancerre's three principal soil types: mainly caillottes — pebbly white limestone — and some terres blanches, composed of richer marl formed in the Kimmeridgian era. Producer Description 

Our 2023 Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of grapefruit, lime zest, white flowers, white peach, lemon grass, and orange peel. On the palate are aromas of pineapple, guava, tropical fruit, Asian pear, candied lemon, and green melon. The wine has a bright acidity and wonderful texture on the mid-palate.

 While the core of this wine is Sauvignon Blanc, the Musqué, Sémillon, and Viognier add a lot of floral notes and viscosity to this vintage. We captured these wonderful floral notes by fermenting each variety separately in concrete eggs, stainless steel drums, and tanks.

The French oak barrels, in which 10% of the wine aged in, were very lightly toasted to preserve the delicate fruity aromas and provide a creamy texture to the mid-palate of the wine.

The delicate and complex olfactory expression opens on aromas which remind of white flower, exotic fruits. There is a very beautiful complexity for a vintage where the end-of-season’s sun brought a lot to the aromas. Excellent complexity that translates into great and elegant richness. Nice attack, straight and bright, it takes place with elegance on fruity notes associated with a dense structure and a beautiful acidity which brings a great length in the end of the mouth. There are aromas of exotic fruits (litchi, mango).

Purchased by the Comte Lafond, an ancestor of the current owner, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, Château du Nozet and its surrounding vineyards have a reputation for producing the finest Pouilly-Fumé. The vineyards are in Pouilly-Fumé Contrôlée, which includes Pouilly-sur-Loire, Saint-Andelain and Tracy-sur-Loire at the eastern end of the Loire Valley (including the vineyard of the Château du Nozet estate).

The Domaine des Loges family history can be traced back to 1789 — farmers and winegrowers in the heart of the Nantes vineyard, passing their know-how from generation to generation for over two centuries. In 2013, brothers Gwenaël and Benjamin Barre took over from their parents Maurice and Marie-Annick, expanding the estate to 41 hectares in the Muscadet appellation around the village of Monnières. The brothers harvest most of their grapes at night to keep them fresh and preserve delicate aromas, plant cover crops of rye, vetch, and red clover between the rows for natural fertilization, and vinify with care in stainless steel to maintain vibrant fruit character. Our 2022 Red Mountain Sauvignon Blanc an ideal example of a perfectly balanced Red Mountain white wine—rich and full on the midpalate, bright tropical fruit flavors balanced with crisp mouthwatering acidity. The vineyard sourcing blends a newer, but well known, extremely warm growing site in Quintessence with the more established and slightly cooler Artz and Klipsun vineyard plantings from the early 1980’s. The result and complex and delicious expression of Sauvignon Blanc. On the aroma we get pineapple, lemon pith, and wet rocks. Salt River Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of five different vineyard sites located around Stellenbosch. The anchor of the wine is the now a 35year-old bush vine vineyard grown on the slopes of Bottelary. The other components are trellised and bush vine vineyards, with various different aspects, planted in granitic soil. These vineyards have combined exceptionally well in creating the saline mineral style of Sauvignonn.

Te Koko 2023 is initially reticent on the nose, but with time in the glass opens to reveal notes of just-ripe mango, lemon verbena and juicy sun-warmed lemon. Domaine de Villargeau is a family estate with a story rooted in determination and a deep respect for the land. In 1991, brothers Fernand and Jean-François Thibault cleared hillsides in the Coteaux du Giennois that had lain abandoned since the phylloxera crisis, planting vines on south-southwest-facing slopes that enjoy exceptional sun exposure. The next generation followed: Marc returned to the estate in 2000 armed with formal training in viticulture and oenology, and Yves joined shortly after, bringing with him a strong commitment to environmental stewardship. That commitment culminated in 2019 when the domaine launched its full conversion to organic agriculture — a milestone that reflects the family’s long-term vision for the land.

The Coteaux du Giennois is a small, often overlooked Loire appellation situated just north of Sancerre, sharing the same chalky, flint-rich soils that give the region’s Sauvignon Blancs their signature mineral precision.
