The estate was named Top 100 Wineries of the Year by Wine & Spirits Magazine, and Meinhard Forstreiter has brought the property to a new level of quality through a combination of advanced modern technology and sound, sustainable viticulture.

The Grooner Grüner Veltliner is sourced from Forstreiter's vineyards on south- and east-facing terraces above the Danube, planted on the distinctive Hollenburger Konglomerat — a unique soil formation of compressed Ice Age gravel from the Danube riverbanks, layered with loess, clay, and sandy soils.
