The 2023 blend draws from distinguished vineyard sites, including Rochioli, Allen, and Olivet Lane. Rochioli and Allen contribute concentration and structure, while Olivet Lane’s Wente-clone Chardonnay adds brightness. An unusually cool, extended growing season allowed the grapes to develop complex flavors while retaining their natural acidity.
Carefully hand-sorted and gently pressed, the fruit was fermented and aged in French oak barrels and puncheons, with 30% new oak. Ten months on the primary lees added texture and depth while preserving the wine’s vibrant fruit character.
