Decades on, Hahn Family Wines remains family-owned and fiercely committed to that original vision. The GSM — a California take on the classic Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre blend of the Southern Rhône — is one of the range’s most compelling expressions.

Bright ruby in color, the 2023 opens with lively aromas of black raspberry, Bing cherry, violet, and a spike of pink peppercorn. The palate is medium-bodied and savory — concentrated pomegranate, strawberry, clove, and a hint of orange peel carry through to a finish with grippy, well-composed tannins and a touch of brown sugar warmth. Versatile at the table and effortlessly drinkable, this is a GSM that earns its value without apology.
