Tenuta Guado al Tasso is one of the crown jewels of the Antinori portfolio — a 320-hectare estate in the prestigious Bolgheri DOC on the Tuscan coast, about 100 kilometers southwest of Florence. Established in 1994, Bolgheri has become one of Italy's most celebrated appellations, and Guado al Tasso sits at its heart, surrounded by the distinctive "Bolgheri amphitheater" of rolling hills and cooled by constant sea breezes from the nearby Tyrrhenian coast. The Scalabrone rosé takes its name from a local 19th-century bandit — a Bolgheri Robin Hood who raided ships in the ancient canal harbor.

The Tenuta Guado al Tasso Scalabrone Rosé di Bolgheri 2025 750ml is a blend of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Grenache, harvested in late August from the estate's coastal vineyards. Each variety was fermented separately after a short cold maceration of 2–4 hours to enhance aromatic richness, then blended and bottled in January 2026. Pale peony pink in the glass, it opens with pleasant floral and fruity aromas of citrus fruit and pomegranate. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with excellent drinkability, good savory notes, and a persistent finish. The 2025 vintage benefited from abundant winter rainfall and well-distributed summer precipitation, resulting in uniform ripening and exceptional freshness.
