Foradori Teroldego Dolomiti Organic Biodynamic 2024 750ml
The Queen of Teroldego, at Her Finest
Elisabetta Foradori is one of Italy's most visionary winemakers — a pioneer who single-handedly rescued the ancient Teroldego grape from obscurity and elevated it to world-class status. Farming biodynamically in the dramatic foothills of the Dolomites in Trentino, her minimal-intervention approach produces wines of extraordinary purity, character, and sense of place.
This is the estate's flagship red: a wine that is simultaneously wild and precise, generous and structured — a benchmark for what indigenous Italian varieties can achieve in the right hands.
67 Wine Review
"Savory, earthy and slightly wild in style, Elisabetta Foradori sculpts one of Italy's finest natural wines. Luscious dark fruits and violets on the nose pick up some spice and wild herbs on the palate. Medium bodied with good depth of flavor and detailed complexity that winds through the finish with purity and a touch of exotic funk."

Francesco Rinaldi & Figli Barolo Cannubi RISERVA 2016 750ml
Winemaker Description
Francesco Rinaldi’s estate was first founded back in 1870, when he inherited a plot of land and vineyard house in the heart of Barolo. Though Francesco’s family wasn’t new to the winemaking game-- his cousin, Giuseppe RInaldi, was also producing great Piemontese reds that were completely shaking up the scene. Today, F. Rinaldi wines are produced only from organic fruit and are some of the best deals coming out of the region’s top growing sites.
Expert Review - Vintage 2016
Wine Advocate 97 Points | The Francesco Rinaldi & Figli 2016 Barolo Riserva Cannubi is a classic beauty with thin, delicate lines that frame a core of profound and very elegant fruit. You can attribute many descriptors to the bouquet, from wild berry, pressed rose, earth, rust, crushed rock and light spice. But no one aroma out-powers the next, and together they work in careful harmony. It's also important to point out the quality of the tannins in this Riserva, which remain elegant and firm. This bottle is a great candidate for long cellar aging. 97+ (ML) (8/2022).

Franz Gojer is one of Alto Adige’s most respected small-production growers, known for crafting expressive, mineral-driven mountain wines from the steep hillsides surrounding Bolzano. The Kerner Karneid 2025 comes from the Karneid area, where high-elevation vineyards, cool alpine air, and rocky soils help create a white wine with freshness, precision, and aromatic lift.
Kerner is a distinctive white grape variety that thrives in cooler mountain climates. Gojer’s Kerner parcel sits on a northwest-facing slope at approximately 550–600 meters elevation, planted in soils composed of sand, porphyry, granite, basalt, and gneiss. Like Gojer’s other white wines, it is aged on the lees until spring, adding texture and depth while preserving its crisp, lively profile.
Expect classic notes of peach, citrus, white flowers, and slate-like minerality, with a clean, refreshing finish. This is a bright yet structured white wine — aromatic without being heavy, mineral without being austere, and beautifully suited for food.
Food Pairing Suggestions:
Excellent with seafood, grilled shrimp, scallops, sushi, fresh oysters, alpine cheeses, roast chicken, asparagus, spring vegetables, herb-driven dishes, and lighter Asian-inspired cuisine. It also pairs beautifully with goat cheese, fresh mozzarella, and simple white fish preparations.

Grown on steep limestone/gravel soils, it offers high acidity and intense purity, typically presenting as a structured, fresh wine rather than an overly tropical style.
Country: Italy
Region: Alto Adige / Südtirol
Appellation: Südtirol DOC
Producer: Franz Gojer / Glögglhof
Grape Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Vintage: 2025
Wine Type: White Wine
Franz Gojer is a small, highly regarded producer in Alto Adige, crafting precise, mineral-driven wines from the steep mountain vineyards around Bolzano. The Sauvignon Karneid 2025 comes from Gojer’s Karneid vineyard, a high-elevation site that benefits from cool alpine air, bright sunlight, and rocky mountain soils.
This Sauvignon is sourced from a south-facing parcel, giving the wine excellent ripeness while still preserving the freshness and lift that define Alto Adige whites. Unlike more tropical or overtly grassy Sauvignon Blanc styles, Gojer’s version is more refined and reserved, showing beautiful aromatics with a clean, mineral backbone.
Expect notes of white peach, citrus, tomato leaf, fresh herbs, and subtle mineral tones. The wine is crisp and focused, with elegant texture, bright acidity, and a refreshing finish. It is a polished mountain Sauvignon that balances aromatic character with restraint and finesse.
Food Pairing Suggestions:
Excellent with grilled fish, shrimp, scallops, oysters, sushi, goat cheese, asparagus, green vegetables, herb-roasted chicken, pesto pasta, fresh salads, and lighter Mediterranean dishes. It also works beautifully with lemony seafood preparations and dishes with fresh herbs.

Franz Gojer St. Magdalener Rondell 2025 750ml (Pre Sale June 2026 ETA)
The Franz Gojer St. Magdalener Vigna Rondell 2025 is a premium, single-site Alto Adige red wine (approx. 93% Schiava, 7% Lagrein) produced from a steep, sandy moraine site (350m) in Bolzano. It is known for a, structured, yet elegant profile, featuring cherry and spicy notes, typically aged in large wooden barrels.
Country: Italy
Region: Alto Adige / Südtirol
Appellation: Südtirol DOC / St. Magdalener
Producer: Franz Gojer / Glögglhof
Grape Variety: Vernatsch / Schiava
Vintage: 2025
Wine Type: Red Wine
Franz Gojer’s St. Magdalener Rondell 2025 comes from the producer’s prized Rondell cru, considered one of his best parcels of Schiava in the St. Magdalener zone. This is a more serious and structured expression of Schiava, while still preserving the elegance, lift, and freshness that make Alto Adige reds so distinctive.
Sourced from older vines planted on a terraced, east-facing slope, this bottling shows more depth and complexity than a lighter everyday Schiava. It offers the grape’s classic charm — red berries, delicate florals, and bright freshness — with added savory, earthy notes and a touch of mild tannin.
Expect flavors of wild cherry, raspberry, red currant, dried flowers, alpine herbs, earth, and subtle spice. The wine is graceful and medium-light in body, with freshness, mineral tension, and enough structure to pair beautifully with food.
Food Pairing Suggestions:
Excellent with speck, prosciutto, roasted chicken, pork, veal, grilled sausages, mushroom dishes, alpine cheeses, pizza, pasta with tomato or mushroom sauce, and lighter red meat dishes. It also works very well slightly chilled with charcuterie boards and casual summer meals.

Franz Gojer Vernatsch [Schiava] 2025 *Limited
Sourced from high-elevation Karneid, this Schiava comes from vines aged 35 to 60 years. Crisp, focused, and lifted, with the freshness of a mountain white wine.
Country: Italy
Region: Alto Adige / Südtirol
Appellation: Südtirol DOC
Producer: Franz Gojer / Glögglhof
Grape Variety: Vernatsch / Schiava
Vintage: 2025
Wine Type: Red Wine
Franz Gojer is a cult Alto Adige producer known for elegant, mineral-driven mountain wines with a strong sense of place. His Vernatsch / Schiava 2025 is a limited-production red sourced from the high-elevation Karneid area, the same mountainous zone where Gojer grows several of his white varieties.
Schiava, known locally as Vernatsch, is one of Alto Adige’s signature red grapes. In Gojer’s hands, it becomes a fresh, lifted, and delicate mountain red rather than a heavy or deeply extracted wine. This bottling comes from old vines, approximately 35 to 60 years old, planted near the upper limits where Schiava can successfully ripen. The result is a crisp, focused red with beautiful purity and finesse.
Expect notes of wild red berries, cranberry, cherry, alpine herbs, delicate florals, and subtle mineral tones. The wine is light-bodied, fresh, and elegant, with gentle tannins and bright acidity. It is the kind of red that can be served slightly chilled and enjoyed with a wide range of foods.
Food Pairing Suggestions:
Excellent with charcuterie, speck, prosciutto, roasted chicken, turkey, pork, grilled sausages, mushroom dishes, alpine cheeses, pizza, pasta with light tomato sauce, and lightly spiced dishes. It is also a great choice for picnic-style meals, cheese boards, and lighter fare where a heavier red would overpower the food.
Style: Light-bodied, fresh, elegant, mineral-driven
Best Served: Slightly chilled, around 55–58°F
Frasca La Guaragna Nizza 2020 750ml
Winemaker Description
Barbera, along with Nebbiolo and Dolcetto, is widely planted throughout Piemonte. Many Barolo and Barbaresco producers will also make a Barbera mainly because the aging requirement is far shorter allowing them to see a profit from the harvest earlier. In the commune of Nizza, the Barbera grape steps into the spotlight and takes center stage. This is where Barbera reaches its heights of glory.
The Frasca family has 22 hectares of vineyard in Nizza, with vines averaging 30 years of age. Their 2020 Barbera Nizza DOCG opens with an inviting bouquet of dark cherries, blackberries, and plums, intertwined with notes of violet, tobacco, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich, showcasing intense flavors of ripe black fruits, licorice, and a touch of dark chocolate, balanced by firm tannins and vibrant acidity. The finish is long and complex, with lingering hints of fruit, spice, and subtle oak nuances.
Gaja Barbaresco 2021 750ml
Points Jeb Dunnuck | AA brightly jeweled ruby hue, the 2021 Barbaresco is super-expressive, with loads of wild raspberries that leap from the glass along with notes of strawberries, pressed roses, fresh orange, and violet. As it opens, it evens picks up some spice box, cigar incense, and cherry notes. Crystalline in nature and ripe, this next-level red delivers ripe, sweet tannins, great tension, and fresh, vibrant acidity, without any austerity. A luxury racecar, it’s fantastic and possibly the wine of the year. Drink 2025-2055.
Robert Parker | This was an epic vintage, and the entire Gaja family is ready to sing its praises. The 2021 Barbaresco sets the tone with sweet cherry flavors framed by spice, earthy notes and elegantly sweet tannins. Giovanni Gaja says the 2021 growing season had two phases: the first six months of the year saw rain and cool temperatures with some frost and soggy conditions until May; however, from June forward, the season saw sunny days without excessive heat spikes. In line with the character of the vintage, this wine shows succulent fruit that is balanced and not too ripe. There is depth and volume here.
Wine Enthusiast | Blended across 14 vineyards, this wine shows the class, beauty and vitality of the noble Nebbiolo grown in the soils of Barbaresco. The wine opens with aromas of ripe cherries, warmed strawberries in sweet spices, fresh herbs and mixed flowers. The palate is lifted and vibrant with a verve that electrifies the palate as flavors of boysenberry, dried blood orange and black tea saunter about alongside well-intergrated tannins, making this wine drinkable now but ready for the cellar. (2020).
| A pretty red, elegant and expressive, offering strawberry, cherry, rose and mineral flavors. Refined tannins and vibrant acidity provide the right amount of support, giving an overall sense of harmony. This firms up nicely, turning more austere, with red fruit and savory notes on the long aftertaste.
| The aromas of licorice, minerals, light tar and dark berries such as raspberry are so attractive. It’s medium-bodied with a tight and integrated palate of fine tannins that are seamless and unseen. It’s long and lively.
| A pure embodiment of Nebbiolo’s elegance, this opens with enticing aromas of ripe red berries, violet petals and earthy undertones. The palate leaps forward with flavors of juicy cherries, plums and a touch of spice. A chalky minerality sits at the core, with fine-grained tannins that create a structure that’s perfectly balanced. Each part of the wine is precise and effortlessly flows into the next.
Gaja Sito Moresco Rosso Langhe 2022 750ml
Winemaker Description
The name derives from Moresco, the previous owner of the parcel in Pajorè vineyard which was purchased in 1979.
Abundant snowfall and low temperatures led to an unusually severe, rainy winter, followed by a dry spring. Temperatures picked up again in mid-March, accelerating the plant life cycle.
Unfortunately, the cold temperatures returned in early April with icy winds that channeled through the valleys and affected the lower vineyards, especially in the Barbaresco area.
Other Barbaresco vineyards affected by frost recorded minimal losses of 5%. Our Barolo vineyards are located at higher altitudes and survived the frost unscathed. The summer rolled out dramatically with a bright and windy start, hot and violent midseason, characterized by frequent thunderstorms, and ended hot and dry.
While both benefited from thunderstorms that cooled the land, powdery mildew became a real threat in Barbaresco in July. A redeeming rainfall came at the end of August, refreshing the Barbaresco and Barolo vineyards.
2021 was a late vintage, tending to be dry but cool, resulting in wines of great volume and richness marked by savoriness and length, generous even on the nose, with intense and complex aromas.
The two varieties ferment and macerate separately for three weeks. After the malolactic fermentation, they are blended and then aged in oak for 12 months.
A beautiful violet color atypical of Nebbiolo but reflective of the 2021 vintage where fullness and richness are even present to the eye. The wine has bold notes of blackberry, cherry, blood orange, and bergamot with a touch of flintiness. Medium-structured with lots of juiciness and harmony on the palate all lead to well-balanced acidity and tannin structure with a long finish.
Giacomo Conterno BAROLO Vigna Francia 2018 750ml
Winemaker Description
A superb and age-worthy Barolo by Giacomo Conterno, from the Francia vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba. 100% Nebbiolo. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in large oak casks. Red fruits, roses, tar, licorice and spices notes. Powerful and complex.
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2018
Expert Reviews 97 Points Wine Advocate | Of the three Barolo samples I tasted from barrel (including Arione and Cerretta, which are also from Serralunga d'Alba), the Giacomo Conterno 2018 Barolo Francia was the furthest behind and the hardest to pin down at this stage in its infancy. I have opened my range of scores accordingly to compensate for the magical unknowns that are likely to occur as the wine moves toward greater harmony and integration before its commercial release. The wine is linear and pointedly focused, lacking the width and volume it will gain when given more time to flesh out and relax. The aromas are also quite primary and simple at this point, with dark cherry and even a hint of ripe strawberry ceding gradually to grilled herb, blue flower and baked brick. This vintage of Barolo Francia will require patience. (2018).
95 Points Wine Spectator | Delivers depth and power, with menthol and wild herbs shading cherry and plum flavors. The balance tips toward the tannins in the end, yet this doesn't feel overly astringent, just more structured than many '18s. Picks up a mineral element as this lingers on the finish. Be patient. (2018).
95+ Points Vinous | The 2018 Barolo Francia is powerful, deep and also a touch austere. It shows the edginess of all the 2018s, but also has a feeling of textural creaminess that adds tons of character. Spice, menthol, leather and a whole range of balsamic overtones build into the deep, imposing finish. Roberto Conterno decided to forego his Barolo Monfortino in 2018, opting instead to blend all the casks into his Francia bottling. When that happens, Francia often surprises down the road. That could very well turn out to be the case here. (2018).
Monica Larner writes: The Giacomo Conterno 2018 Barolo Francia has opened beautifully since I last tasted this wine at the winery two years ago. It was closed back then (no surprise since I tasted it as an unfinished sample), but with the distance of time, the wine has blossomed to show blackcurrant, cassis, aniseed, blue flower and pencil shaving. The Francia is known for its magical combination of power and nuance, both delivered with seamless intensity. This vintage offers a savory component with hints of toasted spice or spent ember. The tannins are fine and polished. - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 95
Giacomo Conterno Nebbiolo d'Alba Arione 2020 750ml
Expert Reviews
94 Points Vinous | The 2020 Nebbiolo d'Alba Arione is bright, focused and tightly wound. There is a feeling of classic austerity (in a good way) that really drive the balance here. Bright red toned fruit, blood orange, chalk, mint, dried herbs and white pepper all race across the palate. This is Barolo in all but name. Time in the glass brings out the wine's inner sweetness and perfume. What a knock out. The Nebbiolo d'Alba is made from a small piece of Arione that lists just outside the Barolo production zone. Drink 2027-2040. (2020).
93 Points James Suckling | Juicy and sweet fruit with some flowers and peaches to plums and cherries. Medium body. Bright and flavorful. Yet refined. Drink now. (2020).
Audrey Frick writes: The first vintage of the Nebbiolo D'Alba Arione was produced in 2019 and comes from a single vineyard of Anione outside the delimited region. Another barrel sample, the 2020 is fresh with wild strawberry and a gentle, red-fruited tone. Vibrant through the palate, with wild red berries, pomegranate, orange peel, and red flowers, this elegant and approachable wine delivers fine tannins, a long mineral/stony texture, and a tinge of iron-rich minerals on the finish. - Jeb Dunnuck 93

Giuseppe e Figlio Mascarello Barolo "Monprivato" 2019 750ml
Critical Acclaim — Vintage 2019
Wine Spectator — 97 Points
"This pure and stylish Barolo features rose, strawberry, cherry, mineral and underbrush aromas and flavors. Though silky in texture, this is well-structured, with integrated tannins and harmony. This is all about finesse and texture, with excellent length and a mineral aftertaste."
About Monprivato
Monprivato is one of the most celebrated single-vineyard crus in all of Barolo — and Giuseppe Mascarello’s exclusive domain. Located in Castiglione Falletto, the vineyard sits on a south-southwest facing slope of Helvetian soils: compact Tortonian marl and limestone that impart the signature minerality, structure, and aromatic complexity for which Monprivato is legendary. The Mascarello family has farmed Monprivato since 1904 and today owns virtually the entire cru — a rarity in Barolo, where vineyard fragmentation is the norm. The result is a wine of singular identity: unmistakably Monprivato, unmistakably Mascarello.
About Giuseppe e Figlio Mascarello
Founded in 1881 in Monchiero and later relocated to Castiglione Falletto, Giuseppe Mascarello e Figlio is one of Piedmont’s most revered and traditional producers. Under the stewardship of Mauro Mascarello — and now his son Giuseppe — the estate has remained steadfastly committed to traditional Barolo winemaking: long macerations, large Slavonian oak casks, and extended aging. No shortcuts, no modernization for its own sake. The Mascarello Barolo Monprivato is consistently ranked among the greatest wines of Italy and among the finest Nebbiolos produced anywhere in the world.
2019 Vintage Notes
The 2019 vintage in Piedmont is widely regarded as one of the greatest in a generation — a warm, dry year that produced wines of exceptional concentration, structure, and longevity. For Barolo, 2019 delivered the ideal combination of ripeness and natural acidity, resulting in wines that are approachable young yet built to age for decades. Monprivato 2019 is considered a benchmark release: powerful, precise, and destined for a long cellar life.
Food Pairings

The story of Gran Passione is not merely about wine; it is a narrative woven through time, with roots that trace back to the Roman era. The crown jewel of their offerings, the Gran Passione Rosso, is crafted in the revered tradition of “Appassimento.” This technique, akin to the esteemed Amarone wines, involves the meticulous drying and shriveling of grapes before they are crushed, allowing their flavors to concentrate and intensify.

The wine is bright and lively and the lime-and-grapefruit mid palate has both zip and a little roundness. A little grassy in a way that makes it the most perfect wine for baby broad bean, pea, edamame or asparagus dishes. Textbook. (TC)
Isole e Olena Cepparello Toscana 2020 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2020
Antonio Galloni writes: The 2020 Cepparello is a total stunner, just as it was last year. Deeply colored, layered and explosive in the glass, the 2020 possesses striking textural richness and overall intensity. Black cherry, graphite, plum, spice and lavender flesh out effortlessly. There's tremendous pedigree and sheer stature here. Cepparello is surely one of the wines of the year. Drinking 2027 to 2045. - Vinous 98
The Wine Advocate, Monica Larner, 96 Points | Supple and smooth, the 2020 Cepparello brings Sangiovese to soaring heights in a manner only Paolo De Marchi can manage. This is his second to last vintage before he would retire and sell this historic estate. The wine opens to medium to full-bodied concentration with dark plum and redcurrant. Those cede to sweet spice, earth, crushed stone, rusty nail and candied orange peel. Give the wine more time to flesh out with cellar age.
The Wine Spectator 96 Points | Expressive and sumptuous from the get-go, this red features cherry, strawberry, rose, orange peel, mineral and Tuscan herb aromas and flavors. Sangiovese. Best from 2025 through 2045.
James Suckling 94 Points | Attractive red and dark berries with dried flowers, nutmeg and cocoa powder. Dried orange peel and wet earth, too. Medium- to full-bodied, toned and steady with fine-grained tannins that are slightly chalky. Polished and even with a lingering finish. Try after 2026.

La Kiuva Rosé de Vallée d'Aoste NV 750ml
Winemaker's Notes
La Kiuva is a small cooperative founded in 1975 in the Valle d'Aosta — Italy's smallest and most alpine region, nestled in the Alps to the northwest, bordering France and Switzerland. A group of 60 dedicated growers tend just 15 hectares of vines at elevations between 380 and 500 meters above sea level. Only 6,000 cases are produced each year, making this a genuinely rare find.
Sandy soils in an alkaline terroir, combined with the dramatic Alpine climate and wide day-to-night temperature swings, naturally enhance the acidity and freshness of the grapes. The result is a beautiful pale pink rosé with aromas of fresh raspberries and wild berries, a fresh and mineral palate, and a delicate, pleasantly bitter finish.
