This Rutherford-dominated blend of Cabernet Sauvignon complemented by Bordeaux grape varieties offers aromas of blackberry cobbler, plum, and black currants, followed by warm hints of vanilla and caramelized black fruit. A concentrated, silky wine emphasizing varietal expression, richness and balance from start to finish.
James Suckling 92 Points | This tank sample of the final blend before bottling shows an abundance of ripe, juicy, almost syrupy fruit flavors, from blueberries to blackberries and cherries. It feels soft and plush, tastes warm and broad and adds chocolate and vanilla accents to all the sweet-tasting fruitiness. Drink or hold.
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Points | Ripe plums, darker berries, spice, and chocolaty, savory herb notes all emerge from the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, a nicely textured, medium-bodied, incredibly satisfying Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that has ripe tannins, plenty of mid-palate depth, and a great finish.
Michter's Bourbon US 1 Whiskey 750ml
Expert Review
Wine Enthusiast Superb/Highly Recommended | The bouquet has a dry, grainy aroma which is accented by peppery/spicy scents. The palate entry is surprisingly sweet and corny, considering how dry the aroma is; the midpalate point is deep, corny sweet, sap-like and a bit syrupy. Ends up well and balanced, with a backnote of dried red fruit (raisins, prunes).
Producer Description
The US*1 expressions, so named to honor Michter’s heritage harkening back to America’s first whiskey company, consist of some of the finest single barrel and truly small batch whiskeys available. Distilled to Master Distiller Dan McKee’s exacting specifications, no US*1 whiskey is ever released until Dan and the Michter’s tasting panel deems it ready.
Michter’s US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is made from a carefully selected mashbill that features the highest quality American corn. It is then matured to the peak of perfection. Truly “small batch” each batch of our US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is batched in a holding tank sized to fit a maximum of twenty full barrels, leaving no margin for “blending out” imperfection and thus necessitating excellence from every barrel. Reflecting the spirit of the Bluegrass State, Michter’s US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is nuanced, mellow and earthy.
Profile: Kentucky whiskey. Fire-charred, new American white oak barrels. Rich caramel with balanced vanilla, stone fruit notes, smoky depth, with an oak finish. 91.4 Proof

Philipponnat Champagne Reserve Perpetuelle Brut NV 750ml
Producer Notes
Philipponnat's Réserve Perpétuelle Brut NV represents a landmark rebranding of the house's flagship “Royale Réserve” — a name now updated to reflect the perpetual reserve (solera) system the house has maintained since 1946, where older wines are continuously refreshed with younger vintages to ensure a consistent, complex, and deeply layered house style.
Based on the 2021 base vintage with over 50% reserve wines, this is a Pinot Noir-driven expression that emphasizes the vinous, gastronomic character of the Mareuil-sur-Aÿ terroir. The blend — 65% Pinot Noir, 32% Chardonnay, 3% Pinot Meunier — is vinified primarily in stainless steel, with reserve wines aged in oak and partial malolactic fermentation. Disgorged December 2024 with 8g/L dosage.

Decanter 94 Points — A distinctly red-berry nose of red currants and small forest fruit. Red Delicious apple carries a telltale Pinot scent. Domaine Champalou Vouvray Sec 2024 750ml
Domaine Champalou | Vouvray Sec | Loire Valley | 2024
Vouvray is Chenin Blanc’s spiritual home — a small appellation on the Loire’s right bank where the grape has been grown for centuries in the region’s distinctive tuffeau limestone soils. Domaine Champalou, run by Céline and Didier Champalou, is one of the appellation’s most beloved estates: biodynamically farmed, meticulous in the cellar, and utterly consistent in producing Vouvray of purity and grace. The Sec (dry) is the entry point into their range and it is a masterclass in what Chenin Blanc can do when the terroir is right and the winemaking gets out of the way. Stony minerality from the limestone, luscious almost-honeyed fruit, and delicate floral notes combine on a palate that is simultaneously fresh and textural — the kind of wine that seems effortless but is anything but. Serve cold, drink often.
- Appellation: Vouvray AOC, Loire Valley, France
- Varietal: 100% Chenin Blanc
- Style: Sec (dry)
- Vintage: 2024
- Format: 750ml
- Soils: Tuffeau limestone

Tasting Notes
Stony minerality, luscious honeyed fruit, and delicate floral notes. Fresh, pure, and textural with a long, clean finish.
67 Wine Picks
"Céline Champalou’s Vouvray is always a joy to drink. The wine seems so pure, as if it bubbled up out of the limestone into a cool, limpid pool tended by nymphs and satyrs who pour it into the mouths of weary souls. That’s what I feel, anyway, when I grab a bottle from the fridge."
Pairing Suggestions
- Seafood: Grilled white fish, shellfish, or scallops with a light cream sauce.
- Poultry: Roasted chicken, turkey, or grilled meats with herb butter.
- Global: Japanese cuisine, Thai dishes with lemongrass, or roasted vegetables.
- Aperitif: An ideal pre-dinner pour on its own.

Chateau Gillet Bordeaux Rouge 2022 750ml
Château Gillet | Bordeaux Rouge AOC | Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, France | 2022
Château Gillet is a family estate with roots stretching back over 150 years, situated on the limestone plateau of Faleyras in the heart of l'Entre-Deux-Mers, south of Libourne. Jean Louis and Christine Nadau, both born into winemaking families, oversee 70 hectares of vineyards that produce around 350,000 bottles annually — a testament to the estate's scale and consistency.
The vineyards are planted to Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, trained in a simple Guyot system with full grass cover between the rows. This classic Bordeaux blend brings together the roundness of Merlot with the structure and complexity of the two Cabernets, resulting in a wine that is both approachable and well-built.
Vinification is traditional: grapes are destemmed and crushed before alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures between 25°C and 28°C, with two pump-overs daily for optimal color extraction. The wine is then matured in oak casks to add depth and ennoble the vintage.
The 2022 shows a deep, sustained ruby color. The nose offers pleasing red fruit aromas — cherry, plum, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is powerful on entry yet supple, with tight, well-integrated tannins and a clean, satisfying finish. An excellent everyday Bordeaux that punches well above its price.
Pair with roasted lamb, beef stew, duck confit, charcuterie, or aged hard cheeses.

- Appellation: Bordeaux Rouge AOC
- Region: Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, France
- Grape Varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc

Gaja Ca' Marcanda Promis Toscana 2023 750ml
Ca’ Marcanda Promis — Bolgheri, Tuscany, Italy 2023
When Angelo Gaja — the most celebrated name in Piedmontese wine — decided to plant roots in Bolgheri, he did not do it quietly. After four years of negotiations with a single landowner (the estate’s name, Ca’ Marcanda, means “house of endless negotiations” in local dialect), he acquired the property in 1996 and set about building one of the most ambitious wine estates in all of Tuscany. Promis is Ca’ Marcanda’s entry-level wine — but “entry-level Gaja” is a very different thing from entry-level anything else. A blend of Merlot, Syrah, and Sangiovese from the estate’s Bolgheri vineyards, the 2023 is a classic, expressive vintage: bright, structured, and unmistakably coastal Tuscan in character.
The color is a vivid, bright ruby-red. The nose is immediately captivating: cinnamon, star anise, and warm spice frame pronounced red fruits — strawberry, black cherry, and a hint of dried violet. On the palate, the tannins are juicy and persistent, building through the mid-palate to a finish defined by a beautiful coastal salinity — the classic hallmark of great Bolgheri vintages. Elegant, energetic, and built to age.

Bodegas Beronia Rioja GRAN Reserva 2018 750ml
Beronia Wineries: Experience the Excellence of Rioja GRAN Reserva 2018
Our Professional Review
Oscar Garcia 67wino.shop | Beronia Gran Reserva is one of my favorite Gran Reservas. Every vintage seems to get better and better. The long-term aging Gran Reserva gives the wine time to develop a great arrange of flavors and nuances, not found in younger wines. Aromas of toasty oak, cassis, dark plum and cedar. Medium to full-bodied. Great length and integration. Serious but approachable.
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2018
James Suckling 92 Points | Attractive nose with a hint of walnut husk and dark earth to the black cherries and sweet tobacco. A hint of truffle and sous-bois, too. Medium-bodied on the palate with firm, dusty tannins that grow and extend in a long, succulent finish. Tempranillo, graciano and mazuelo.
The Wine Enthusiast 92 Points | Deep violet to the eye, this wine has a nose of black plum, dark chocolate and dried hillside herbs. Bold red berry flavors are joined by plush tannins and deeper notes of mocha, truffle and thyme. As flavors and textures wind down on the palate, a note of orange zest remains.
The Wine Spectator 90 Points | A classy red, fresh and fragrant, with notes of bay leaf, pepper and tar-tinged mineral accenting crushed cherry and blackberry fruit flavors. Shows good focus, with lightly chalky tannins in a medium-bodied frame. Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano. Drink now through 2026. 50,000 cases made, 3,500 cases imported.
Memo Summary Notes
The Bodegas Beronia Rioja Gran Reserva 2018 represents the pinnacle of Beronia’s classic lineup. While the Mi Villa you looked at earlier is fresh and unoaked, this Gran Reserva is the complete opposite: a wine defined by patience, extensive aging, and complex secondary flavors.
A wine of this stature needs "heavy lifters" to match its intensity:
-
-
Game: Roasted duck or wild boar ragu.
-
Mature Cheeses: Aged Manchego, Roncal, or even a salty Blue cheese.
-
Umami Dishes: Anything involving truffles or wild forest mushrooms.
Red Meats: Slow-roasted lamb shanks, prime rib, or venison.
-

Skouras Peloponnese Moscofilero 2024 750ml
Skouras Moscofilero — Peloponnese, Greece 2024
Domaine Skouras is one of the Peloponnese's most respected estates, founded by George Skouras in the 1980s and widely credited with helping to modernize Greek winemaking. Their Moscofilero is a benchmark expression of this extraordinary indigenous grape — grown at high altitude in the Mantinia plateau of the Peloponnese, where cool temperatures preserve the variety's signature floral intensity and natural acidity. Fermented in stainless steel with short skin contact, no malolactic fermentation, and brief aging on fine lees, it is crafted to showcase the grape's pure, aromatic character without interference.
The nose is immediately captivating: white flowers, honeysuckle, violet, and rose petals with a delicate freshness that is entirely its own. On the palate, it is soft and crisp with intense aromatic flavors that mirror the nose, lively acidity, and a clean, refreshing finish. One of Greece's most distinctive and food-friendly whites — and one of the world's great aromatic varieties.

Alphonse Mellot Sancerre La Moussiere 2025 750ml
Alphonse Mellot La Moussière Sancerre — Loire Valley 2025
Alphonse Mellot is one of Sancerre’s most storied and celebrated estates — and the only domaine in the entire Sancerrois to hold the prestigious hors concours (beyond competition) distinction. La Moussière is the estate’s flagship cuvée: a 100% Sauvignon Blanc sourced from the La Moussière vineyard at the very heart of the Sancerre appellation, farmed biodynamically since 1999 and hand-harvested in its entirety. Aged for 8 months on the lees in a combination of wood, concrete, and stainless steel vessels, the wine develops remarkable texture and complexity while allowing the pure fruit to shine through with no evidence of oak flavor. The 2023 vintage earned 90 points from Vinous — and the 2025 continues that legacy.
The color is a resplendent golden robe with glints of green. The nose is floral and fruity: white flowers, citrus, and the characteristic mineral tension of great Sancerre. On the palate, it is rounded and airy — finely textured with curved edges from lees aging, with pure lemon, nettle, and fresh pineapple characters singing through a clean, mineral-driven finish of real precision and length. Fish tartare, smoked salmon, or a girolle mushroom omelette are the classic pairings.

Wolffer Estate Rosé Long Island 2025 750ml
Wölffer Estate Rosé — Long Island 2025
Wölffer Estate is the Hamptons’ most iconic winery — and their Gold Label Rosé is the wine that put Long Island rosé on the map. Crafted from the estate’s maritime terroir on the East End of Long Island, where cooling sea breezes off the Atlantic preserve freshness and lift, this is a rosé of genuine complexity, understated elegance, and outstanding value. The 2025 vintage is, by all accounts, one of the finest Long Island has ever produced.
The growing season was shaped by hot, dry conditions in July and August that promoted small berry size and remarkable concentration, followed by a storm-free harvest and cooling October breezes that preserved vibrancy and balance. Rosé harvest ran from September 21 through October 7. Grapes were destemmed, pressed, and cold-settled at 40°F, then fermented slowly at 62°F over three weeks. The wine rested 12 weeks on the lees sur lie for added complexity and structure, fermented fully dry with no malolactic fermentation to preserve freshness.
The result: a radiant, delicate ruby rosé with honeysuckle, ripe wild strawberry, and classic floral aromas. On the palate, vibrant acidity and minerality balance beautifully concentrated fruit, with a refreshing, generous mouthfeel and a long, savory finish.
- Producer: Wölffer Estate, Sagaponack, Long Island, New York
- Vintage: 2025
- Appellation: Long Island

Jack Daniel's BLACK LABEL Whiskey Sour Mash Old No. 7 - 1.0 LITER
Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey — Lynchburg, Tennessee, USA (1.0L)
Jack Daniel's is the world's best-selling American whiskey — and one of the most iconic spirits brands on earth. Founded in 1866 by Jasper Newton "Jack" Daniel in Lynchburg, Moore County, Tennessee, the distillery is the oldest registered distillery in the United States and has been producing Old No. 7 from the same limestone cave spring water source for over 150 years. What sets Tennessee Whiskey apart from bourbon is the Lincoln County Process — a distinctive charcoal mellowing step in which the new spirit is slowly dripped through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before entering the barrel, removing harsh notes and imparting the signature smoothness that defines Jack Daniel's character. The whiskey is then matured in handcrafted, new American oak barrels with a balance of sweet and oaky flavor, developing the vanilla, caramel, and toasted wood notes that have made Old No. 7 the benchmark of the category. In 1.0L format, it is the ideal bottle for home bars, entertaining, and cocktail making.
The nose is smooth and inviting: pronounced vanilla, toasted oak, and a hint of caramel with the gentle sweetness of the charcoal mellowing process. On the palate, it is silky and balanced yet lush and intense — sweet oak, vanilla, and a warm, lingering finish with just the right amount of spice. A gorgeous iteration from America's top whiskey brand.

Laphroaig 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750ml
Laphroaig 10 Year Old — The Most Richly Flavoured of All Scotch Whiskies
From the remote southern shore of Islay — an island whose name means "the beautiful hollow by the broad bay" in Gaelic — comes one of the world’s most distinctive and beloved single malts. Laphroaig (pronounced La-froyg) is not a whisky that asks for your approval. It announces itself boldly and leaves a lasting impression.
Malted barley dried over Islay’s unique peat fires gives Laphroaig its unmistakable character: a deep, pungent smoke layered with seaweed, campfire ash, and smoked fish on the nose, followed by a palate of earthy sweetness, toasted barley, and a long, oily, medicinal finish that Islay devotees find utterly irreplaceable.
“Great Value” — Wine Enthusiast, 90 Points
- Distillery: Laphroaig, Islay, Scotland
- Age: 10 Years
- Size: 750ml
- ABV: 43%
- Tasting Notes: Blue peat smoke, seaweed, campfire ash, toasted barley, heather, medicinal finish
- Style: Heavily peated, maritime Islay single malt
Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of cool water to open up the aromatics. Roll it on your tongue and let Islay come to you. A benchmark bottle for any serious whisky collection.
Champagne Gamet 'Rive Droite' Blanc des Noirs Extra Brut 750ml (Introductory Price)
Champagne Gamet | Rive Droite | Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut | Vallée de la Marne, Champagne | NV (60% 2021 Base) | Practicing Organic
Champagne Gamet is a grower-producer based along the right bank of the Marne River — a stretch of Champagne defined by its sunny exposures, sandy clay soils over limestone, and a distinctly saline, mineral character. The estate farms with purpose: practicing-organic viticulture, old vines averaging 40 to 50 years, and a winemaking philosophy that prizes precision and terroir transparency over power. Rive Droite is the house’s signature Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut, drawing fruit from the villages of Fleury-la-Rivière and Damery — two contrasting sites whose combination of ripe fruit character and firm mineral backbone defines the wine’s identity.
The blend is 85% Pinot Meunier and 15% Pinot Noir. Approximately 60% comes from the 2021 harvest, with 40% reserve wines dating back to 2014 — a depth of material that adds complexity and consistency without sacrificing freshness. Vinification is primarily in stainless steel, with roughly 10% fermented and matured in oak for texture and nuance. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in full. After secondary fermentation in bottle, the wine ages approximately 18 months on its lees before disgorgement at a low dosage of approximately 4 grams per liter, placing it firmly within the Extra Brut category and emphasizing its freshness, precision and mineral character.
The wine pours pale straw with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose opens with dried pear, white cherry, raspberry and delicate strawberry, layered with apple blossom, dried flowers and a whisper of spice. With air, blood orange peel, grapefruit, almond, brioche and crushed stone emerge. On the palate, the wine is fresh, supple and finely textured — Pinot Meunier brings roundness and generosity, while Pinot Noir adds structure and savory depth. Bright acidity and a clean saline thread carry the wine through a mouthwatering, gently nutty finish.
Serve as an aperitif or throughout the meal. Pairs beautifully with oysters, smoked salmon, sushi, shellfish, roast chicken, pork, charcuterie, mushroom dishes and soft or moderately aged cheeses. Serve well chilled at 46–50°F in a white wine or tulip-shaped Champagne glass.
Wine Spectator: 92 Points — Sleek and finely textured, with flavors of dried white cherry, raspberry, blood orange peel, almond blossom and chopped nuts. A refreshing saline note carries through the mouthwatering finish.
Vinous: 91 Points — Bright, expressive and full of character, offering notes of dried pear, cherry, cinnamon, dried flowers and nuts. Silky and understated, with additional harmony emerging as the Champagne opens in the glass.
Jeb Dunnuck: 90 Points — Savory aromas of wet stone lead to delicate strawberry, light spice and grapefruit. Medium-bodied and subtly textured, with increasing richness on the palate and a salty, mineral-driven finish.

Faiveley Bourgogne Blanc 2024 750ml
Joseph Faiveley Bourgogne Blanc — Burgundy 2024
Faiveley's Bourgogne Blanc is the entry point into one of Burgundy's most storied estates — and it punches well above its appellation. Founded in 1825 and based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Faiveley is among the largest vineyard owners in the Côte d'Or, with holdings spanning the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. That estate access is the secret: fruit from their own vineyards is blended with carefully selected grapes from trusted growers, producing a wine of genuine village-level character at an appellation price. The 2024 vintage delivers everything you want from a Burgundian Chardonnay — freshness, generosity, and a length that defies its price.
The color is a brilliant pale greenish-yellow. The nose is expressive and charming: white flowers, ripe pear, lemon zest, and a whisper of minerality. On the palate, the attack is bold and generous — round and full-bodied with a creamy mid-palate, subtle oak integration, and a finish of exceptional length and persistence for a Bourgogne Blanc. This is the benchmark for what entry-level white Burgundy can be.

Chateau Meyney Saint-Estephe 2023 750ml
Château Meyney — Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux 2023
Château Meyney is one of Saint-Estèphe’s great overachievers — a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel estate situated right next to the famed Château Montrose, whose proximity to the Gironde estuary helps cool the vines during summer heatwaves and contributes to the wine’s remarkable balance and longevity. The 2023 is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, and 12% Petit Verdot, sourced from a mix of gravelly and clay soils and aged 18 months in French oak barrels. James Suckling and Jeb Dunnuck both awarded it 94 points; Vinous and The Wine Independent 93; Wine Spectator 91. Jeb Dunnuck noted that “the quality here has stepped up a notch recently” and projects a cellar window of 2029–2053.
The color is a deep, saturated purple. The nose is dark and savory: cassis, elderberry, graphite, smoky tobacco, crushed stone minerality, incense, licorice, dried herbs, and pressed lavender. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a pure, focused, layered mouthfeel — linear acidity, ripe and polished tannins, and a long, driving finish with beams of structure that demand cellaring. Drinkable now with aeration, but built to evolve beautifully over the next 25–30 years.
James Suckling 94 • Jeb Dunnuck 94 • Vinous 93 • The Wine Independent 93 • Wine Spectator 91 — "Beautifully done and going to evolve nicely over the coming 25–30 years." — Jeb Dunnuck

A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot and 12% Petit Verdot. Drinkable now with some aeration, but better from 2028.Jeb Dunnuck — 94 Points
Always a classic Saint-Estèphe (and I think the quality here has stepped up a notch recently), the 2023 Château Meyney comes from a mix of gravelly and clay soils and is based on 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, and 12% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in French oak barrels. It sports a deep purple hue as well as beautiful cassis, graphite, smoky tobacco, and crushed stone-like minerality. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, focused, layered mouthfeel, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish. It’s beautifully done and is going to evolve nicely over the coming 25–30 years if well stored. Drink 2029–2053.Vinous — 93 Points
The 2023 Meyney is every bit as convincing as it was en primeur. Dark and quite savory, the 2023 has a lot to offer. Gravel, incense, tobacco, licorice, dried herbs, chocolate and pressed lavender infuse this mid-weight Saint-Estèphe with a good deal of character. Beams of tannin shape the insistent, driving finish. The Wine Independent — 93 Points
2023 Meyney has a creamy, rounded and fruity nose with hints of yoghurt and dairy products. It is very soft and forthcoming and is made in the velvety, pleasant style very typical for the chateau. This is a good Meyney that should age well and be approachable at an early stage.Wine Spectator — 91 Points
A fresh, racy-edged style, with damson plum and bitter cherry fruit framed by a chalky edge that’s embedded nicely. Iris and violet accents gild the finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2033.
