This estate Riesling is harvested across Dirler-Cadé’s holdings, including fruit from the Grand Crus of Saering, Kitterlé, Kessler, Spiegel, Belzbrunnen, and Oberer Spiegel — with 70% of the estate’s Riesling on grand cru sites, this is a village wine with exceptional raw material. The nose is scented and bright, with navel orange peel and a touch of apricot. All plots at Dirler-Cadé have been farmed biodynamically since 1998, with the goal of expressing the exceptional personality of each terroir. The estate’s four Grand Crus — Kitterlé, Saering, Spiegel, and Kessler — are each associated with one of the four elements: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. The Saering (“sea ring”) recalls the calcareous sediments deposited in the Oligocene period, producing wines that are juicy, broad, and dense with great power.

Louis Jadot Chassagne-Montrachet 2023

Louis Jadot is one of Burgundy's most respected and enduring négociants, with a history stretching back to 1859. From their base in Beaune, Jadot has long been a benchmark producer across the entire Côte d'Or, combining meticulous sourcing with sensitive, terroir-driven vinification. Their village-level Chassagne-Montrachet is a masterclass in what this historically significant appellation can deliver: a full-bodied, expressive Chardonnay that serves as a key introduction to the great whites of the Côte de Beaune.

Assembled from multiple sites across this large and diverse village appellation, the wine benefits from Jadot's deep expertise and rigorous approach. Careful sorting and gentle vinification are followed by 16–18 months of aging in large oak barrels (30% new), with malolactic fermentation controlled to preserve a lively, fresh sensation on the palate.

The Wine Advocate | The 2023 vintage was shaped by an unusually warm and dry winter and early spring, followed by much-needed rainfall in March that ensured homogenous flowering in May. Stormy weather in June gave way to a mild late summer, capped by an unusual September heat wave. Harvest was completed on September 16th, with picking carried out exclusively in the cool morning hours to preserve freshness and aromatic precision. Pale gold in the glass, the wine is full-bodied and rich, with exotic citrus fruit, ripe pear, and candied floral notes. The palate is generous and layered, with a lively acidity that keeps the wine focused and elegant through a long, mineral finish.

Assyrtiko is one of Greece’s great white grapes — and here, grown organically in the continental climate of Serres in northern Macedonia, it shows a different face from its volcanic Santorini counterpart: still crisp and mineral-driven, but with a rounder texture and bright fruit to match. Light, clean, and refreshing, with zippy citrus acidity, saline minerality, and a lingering, energetic finish.

Domaine Nerantzi was founded in 1988 as a passionate expression of the family’s love for wine and their desire to revive the winemaking traditions passed down through generations — reinterpreted for a modern palate. Today the estate produces wines of distinction that reach markets around the world, with organic farming at the heart of their approach.

We are a family owned winery situated in northern Greece (P.G.I. Serres). Our vineyards cover a surface of 10,8ha in a total of 20ha of family owned property. Our cultivation and vinification is organic certified since our first vintage in 2007.

We respect nature and its balance, focusing a lot in keeping our ecosystem alive. We are using just sulphur and cooper without any herbicides or pesticides (not even organic)  in our vineyards. We were blessed with a place that allows as to do so, and it is not by chance that we get high quality of fruits.

Our region has a long history in winemaking, it is the land where Dionysos was described to have lived and all the greek myths around wine referred to. With cold snowy winters and cool summer nights we have the ability to produce naturally, high quality fruit which we believe is the start of a good wine.

Straw yellow with golden reflections. The nose is generous and expressive — pineapple, golden apple, yellow flowers, and delicate hints of white spice. On the palate it is enveloping, fresh, and sapid, with good minerality and a sleek texture that speaks to both the single-vineyard terroir and the 12 months of amphora aging. A wine of great elegance and complexity, with a drinking window that extends 3–4 years from harvest.

Fiorfiore is produced from a single vineyard of Grechetto di Todi (clone G5) planted in 1990, trained Guyot on whitish clay soils rich in marl, limestone, and chalk. Fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts; the wine is then aged 12 months in amphora and large Slavonian oak casks on fine lees, with no malolactic fermentation, followed by a minimum of 6 months in bottle before release.

Cantina Roccafiore was established by the Baccarelli family in 1999 on 15 hectares of rolling hills near Todi — the green heart of Umbria. "Skin and bones" — that's what Pielihueso means in Spanish, and it captures the philosophy perfectly: nothing added, nothing taken away, just the raw expression of the land. This family project began in 2017 when Alejandro Bartolomé — a lifelong organic farmer — and his daughter Celina planted vines in Los Chacayes and Los Sauces, two high-altitude subregions of the Uco Valley in Tunuyán, Mendoza. The labels were designed by daughter Carmela, drawn from her brother's artwork. Everything here is a family affair. The vines — now 13 years old — grow in sandy, alluvial soils at elevation, farmed organically with no corrections in the cellar: native yeast fermentation, co-fermented in stainless steel, and a minimal sulfur addition only at bottling.
