St. Francis Winery has been one of Sonoma County's most reliable Cabernet producers for decades, drawing on estate and select vineyards across the appellation. Olivier Leflaive is one of Burgundy's most respected négociant-éleveurs, founded in 1984 in Puligny-Montrachet by a member of the legendary Leflaive family — one of the most storied names in white Burgundy. The 2022 Barbaresco is a pretty rich, heady wine. Dark cherry/plum fruit, cloves, licorice and mocha build as the 2022 shows off its considerable depth. One of the few 2022s that is quite resonant texturally. The inclusion of some juice from Riserva lots is a great help. All things considered, this is a stellar showing.

Our project Avenida 67 is back after a few years of hiatus.

This time, we’ve teamed up with one of the most iconic Argentine winegrowing families — the Benegas-Lynch family. Fifth-generation producers in Mendoza, Argentina, their legacy is deeply rooted in the cradle of Argentine winemaking.

Avenida 67 was the first label I ever created for 67 Wine, so it carries tremendous sentimental value. Working with Tiburcio Benegas, who currently leads operations at Bodegas Benegas, has been an absolute pleasure. Tiburcio is a man of many talents, and preserving his family’s legacy is among his greatest passions.

Cantine Colosi Grillo Sicilia — Sicily, Italy 2024

Grillo is one of Sicily's most fascinating indigenous white grapes — once prized as the backbone of the island's famous Marsala, it fell out of fashion as fortified wine declined, only to be rediscovered by a new generation of Sicilian producers who recognized its potential as a fresh, clean, expressive varietal wine. Cantine Colosi, based on the Aeolian Islands and the Sicilian mainland, is one of those producers: a family winery with deep roots in the island's winemaking tradition, committed to showcasing Sicily's native varieties with honesty and craft. Their Grillo is certified vegan and made to express the grape's natural freshness and aromatic character without intervention.

The 2024 pours a pale straw yellow. The nose is intense and inviting — fresh floral aromas, golden apple, stone fruit, tropical hints, and a savory herbal note that speaks to the Sicilian terroir. On the palate, it's bright and lively with orange zest, grapefruit, white peach, and a clean, sapid, refreshing finish of genuine length. Wonderfully balanced and endlessly food-friendly.

Winemaker Description - Vintage 2022 

Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva 2022 is intensely ruby red in color. Impressive on the nose with intense notes of black cherries, delicate floral hints of violets and rose petals that lead over to notes of vanilla and cocoa powder. Entry on the palate is mouth filling and lively then unfolds with great balance revealing supple vibrant tannins that accompany and sustain a long, sapid and persistent finish.

Monte Antico is one of Tuscany's most reliably excellent values — a benchmark Toscana IGT that has built a devoted following among sommeliers and everyday wine lovers alike.
