Ronchi di Cialla Ribolla Gialla 2024 (Pre-Sale Pricing - ETA May 14, 2026)
92 Points Vinous Media ; 90 Points Wine Advocate
Airy and fresh, the 2024 Ribolla Gialla wafts up with an array of dusty dried flowers, savory herbs and crushed nectarines. It is soothingly round with a saline tinge up front as a tropical fruit flourish gives way to an air of mint. Juicy acidity provides excellent balance as this tapers off with a mineral inflection and a hint of green melon. A total pleasure to taste. – Vinous
Ronchi di Cialla Rose di Cialla 2025 750ml
RONCHI DI CIALLA ROSÉ DI CIALLA 2025 | 750ML
🇮🇹 Italy — Schioppettino (Ribolla Nera) | Colli Orientali del Friuli, Friuli-Venezia Giulia
Powder bright pink in color, with aromas of small red fruits on a finely spiced background. The palate is fresh, persistent, and fruity, followed by citrus notes and minerals with a beautifully balanced acid framework. A dry, elegant rosé with genuine depth — the kind that rewards attention.
Sourced from the Cernetig vineyard in the Cialla Valley, a 0.70 hectare parcel at 200–230 meters with south-southeast exposure and marl-limestone soils of especially high pH — a characteristic the family believes contributes to the wine’s aging potential. Macerated on skins for 18 hours, then fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature and aged in bottle before release.
Ronchi di Cialla is a historic estate in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, just under three miles from the Slovenian border. Brothers Ivan and Pierpaolo are entomologists by training, and biodiversity is central to their philosophy — the winery is certified Biodiversity Friend, committed to protecting and improving the surrounding ecosystem. Cialla derives from the Slovenian word cela, meaning “riviera” — a nod to the valley’s Mediterranean-like microclimate, complete with olive trees.
Pairs well with: Seafood, salads, charcuterie, and fresh cheeses.
Grape: Schioppettino (Ribolla Nera)
Region: Colli Orientali del Friuli, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy

Ronchi di Cialla Schioppettino Rosso Friuli 2018 750ml
Expert Reviews — Vintage 2018
About the Producer
The Ronchi di Cialla winery sits within its own valley like something out of a fairy tale — roads curving through rows of vines planted between outcroppings of forest, with the family home and cellar perched at the top of a hill overlooking vineyards in all directions. Ivan Rapuzzi runs the winery with his mother and brother, following the same traditional methods as their father before them.
The Rapuzzi family saved Schioppettino from extinction, building a library of wines spanning decades that proves just how magnificently this variety matures. Today, Schioppettino has its own subzone within Friuli Colli Orientali — Schioppettino di Prepotto — while Ronchi di Cialla enjoys its own unique terroir within the Cialla Valley.

Roserock Drouhin Oregon Pinot Noir Eola Amity Hills 2024 750ml
Winemaker Description
The 2024 Roserock Pinot Noir captures the purity and tension of our Eola–Amity Hills estate. Aromas of black cherry, violet, and raspberry rise from the glass, layered with notes of dried herbs, coffee, and stony earth. On the palate, it’s vibrant and poised, with bright acidity carrying flavors of strawberry, plum, and subtle spice. The texture is fine and supple, unfolding toward a long, graceful finish that conveys the youth and promise of this wine.
In 2024, a cool spring led to a slower start, but warm, dry conditions through summer and fall set the stage for an outstanding vintage. The vines ripened beautifully, with minimal disease pressure and ideal acidity. Harvest began on September 23 under perfect conditions. Véronique is already calling 2024 a standout year, with vibrant, balanced wines to come.
Roserock is an extraordinary vineyard at the southern tip of the Eola-Amity Hills, in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Ancient volcanic soils, an ideal elevation range, and the unique cooling effect of the Van Duzer corridor produce classic cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Roserock is LIVE-certified sustainable.
Roserock Drouhin Zephhirine Pinot Noir Oregon 2023 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2023
James Suckling 97 Points | So pretty, charming and elegant, with floral aromas, light tannins and quiet vibrancy. Fresh raspberries, sour cherries, red cherries, rose petals and minerals give it complexity and appeal. Finesse, nerve and great balance. Drink now or hold.
Jeb Dunnuck 96 Points | A bright red color, the 2023 Pinot Noir Roserock Zephirine offers focused and expressive notes of wild raspberries, framboise, rosy perfume, and sweet herbs. Medium-bodied, it has ripe tannins and an approachable feel, with its underlying mineral focus shining through the midpalate and finish. It’s delicious now but will only improve over the next 6-7 years and drink well over the coming 15 years.
Vinous 93 Points | The 2023 Pinot Noir Zéphirine wafts up with an understated blend of dried flowers, spiced citrus and wild strawberries. A stern mineral core and brisk acidity enliven the tart wild berry fruits. Youthful tension pinches at the cheeks, leaving angular tannins and admirable freshness.

Sourced from Napa Valley fruit and blended with the precision of a classic Bordeaux assemblage, this is a Cabernet built for both the dinner table and the cellar. RouteStock Chardonnay Sonoma Coast 2024 750ml
RouteStock · Chardonnay · Sonoma Coast · California · 2024 · 750ml
RouteStock is a Sonoma-based label built around a simple idea: source from the best sites, let the fruit speak, and keep the price honest. The result is a Chardonnay that leans into freshness and precision rather than weight and oak — bright, complex, and genuinely food-friendly. Sealed with a screw cap to preserve every bit of that coastal aromatics. At $23.99, this is Sonoma Coast Chardonnay at a price that makes it a weeknight staple.
Brilliant light straw in the glass with a beguiling, aromatic nose of Gravenstein apple, wild sage, Meyer lemon, and a lift of lemongrass — unmistakably Chardonnay, unmistakably coastal. RouteStock Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2023 750ml
RouteStock | Pinot Noir | Sonoma Coast AVA | California | 2023
RouteStock is a California label built around the idea that great wine should be accessible — that world-class terroir doesn’t have to come with a world-class price tag. Their Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir draws from one of California’s most celebrated cool-climate appellations, where Pacific fog and coastal winds push grapes to their expressive limits. The 2023 is a textbook example of what makes this region so compelling: complexity, tension, and a savory depth that punches well above its price.
The nose is brooding and aromatic — dried herbs, toasted hazelnuts, blood orange peel, and a whisper of lavender. On the palate, bright red-cherry acidity and crunchy minerality frame an appealing umami core, with flavors of shiitake mushroom, bay laurel, brambly berries, and cooked red and blackberries woven through with woodsy spice. Routestock Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2024 750ml
RouteStock · Sauvignon Blanc · Napa Valley · California · 2024
RouteStock is the fine wine project of Wilson Daniels, Napa’s storied importer — and it is built on a simple premise: take the best varietals and source them from the best appellations. For Sauvignon Blanc, that means Napa Valley, specifically the cooler southern end of the valley where the San Pablo Bay breezes keep temperatures in check and preserve the grape’s natural aromatic lift. Now in its ninth consecutive vintage from the same two growers in Carneros and Rutherford, RouteStock Sauvignon Blanc is a wine of genuine complexity — triple-fermented across stainless steel, concrete egg, and neutral French oak — that consistently over-delivers at its price point.
The 2024 is bright and expressive, with high-toned aromas of wild thyme, sage, cantaloupe rind, hay, and ruby red grapefruit. On the palate, it is racy and crisp yet surprisingly deep — cantaloupe, pear, sage, and fig coat the mouth with texture and length. The concrete egg and neutral oak add amplitude without obscuring the wine’s essential freshness. A wine equally at home on the back porch or at the dinner table.
- Producer: RouteStock (Wilson Daniels, Napa, CA)
- Vintage: 2024 (9th consecutive vintage)
- Appellation: Napa Valley, California
- Vineyards: Carneros & Rutherford

Rudi Pichler Riesling Smaragd Terrassen 2021 750ml
Tasting Notes
A dry, structured Wachau Riesling of great mineral character and pleasing freshness. Defined by high levels of dry extract from a lengthy ripening period and vibrant acidity driven by dramatic day-to-night temperature swings, this is a Riesling of real depth, precision, and aging potential.
About the Wine
Rudi Pichler is one of the Wachau's most respected producers, farming steep, southwest-facing terraces of meager primary rock soils that stress the vines and concentrate flavor. The Smaragd classification — the highest ripeness level in the Wachau — signals a wine of exceptional body and complexity. The Terrassen bottling draws from these dramatic hillside sites, delivering a wine that is simultaneously powerful and elegant.
Food Pairing
Pairs beautifully with river fish, Wiener Schnitzel, roasted pork, and aged hard cheeses. Also exceptional on its own as a contemplative sipping wine.

Rudi Pichler RIESLING Smaragd Terrassen 2022 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2022
Vinous 94 Points | The 2022 Riesling Terrassen Smaragd is from 20- to 60-year-old vines planted on higher parcels at 250-350 meters. The nose has something of an eau de Cologne sense, with its conifer and citrus spice. The palate is super slender, very linear and uncompromisingly fresh, without a suspicion of fat or any opulence. This treads a thin line on perfect tiptoe. There is a weightless quality here. This is brimming with lemon and utterly fresh.
The Wine Spectator 93 Points | With fullness to the lychee, green plum and quince flavors, this delicious, mouthcoating and salty white is laced with baking spice notes. Stays elegant and well-defined despite its plump profile, offering zesty clementine acidity, with dried sage and fresh-cut grass notes bringing a savory dimension. Drink now through 2032.
Winemaker Description
Wachau Riesling is dry and often defined by high levels of dry extract (due to a lengthy ripening period) and a pleasing freshness (due to dramatic temperature swings between day and night). Soils of primary rock from various terraced sites give this dry Riesling subtle minerality accompanied by aromas and flavors of citrus and stone fruit.
Riesling’s high acidity makes it one of the most versatile wines at the table. Riesling can be used to cut the fattiness of foods such as pork or sausages and can tame a certain amount of saltiness. Conversely, it can highlight foods such as fish or vegetables in the same way a squeeze of lemon or a vinaigrette can.
Rudi Pichler is among the elite growers of the Wachau producing wines of precision, power, and longevity. Grüner Veltliner and Riesling make up 95% of the production with the remaining 5% shared between Weißburgunder and Roter Veltliner. Rudi Pichler belongs to the prestigious Vinea Wachau and vinifies under the strict parameters of their codex.
Yields are kept low between 30 and 35 hectoliters per hectare with botrytis carefully removed by hand. Grapes are crushed by foot and receive between three and 36 hours of maceration on the skins. Vinification is entirely in stainless-steel tanks and malolactic fermentation is avoided.
Weingut Rudi Pichler consists of 37 acres spread between Wösendorf, Joching, and Weißenkirchen where south-facing terraces look down at the Danube River. Terrassen indicates it is a cuvée from multiple terraced sites. Smaragd is a term used by Vinea Wachau members indicating a dry wine with a minimum alcohol of 12.5%.
Ruffino Modus Toscana 2022 750ml
Expert Reviews — Vintage 2022
James Suckling 94 Points | Aromas of crushed stones, dark berries, and blueberries follow through to a medium to full body with creamy tannins and a medium-chewy finish. Chocolate at the end. Two or three years of bottle age will bring this around nicely. Drink after 2024.
Winemaker Description
A standard-setting Super Tuscan red blend renowned for its intense and intriguing character. Ruffino Modus opens with aromas of mature red and black cherries, plums, and small blackberries. A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot — each variety contributing structure, depth, and fruit complexity in equal measure.
About Ruffino
Founded in 1877, Ruffino is one of Tuscany’s most storied wine estates. Modus — Latin for “method” or “measure” — was created to showcase the potential of blending international varieties with Sangiovese in the Toscana IGT classification, free from the constraints of traditional appellation rules. The result is a wine of remarkable consistency and age-worthiness at an accessible price point.
Food Pairings
Grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, wild boar ragù, aged Pecorino, and classic Tuscan dishes. Equally rewarding with 2–3 years of additional cellaring.

Expert Review
The Wine Advocate by Stuart Pigott writes 94 Points | A very refined and delicate Cote-Rotie with wonderful floral complexity. Graceful palate that feels almost weightless. Lovely mineral freshness carries the medium-bodied palate through to the very long.
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Points | Coming from a handful of terroirs, the 2021 Côte Rôtie is clearly outstanding. Black raspberries, peppery herbs, spring flowers, and bacon fat notes all give way to a medium-bodied, elegant 2021 that has juicy, integrated acidity and a great finish. Drink bottles over the coming decade. While Gigondas’s Louis Barruol is well known for his reference point Gigondas releases, his terrific Northern Rhône releases are, unfortunately, less well known. As with his Southern Rhônes, Louis likes lots of stems and used barrels, and these wines all have classic profiles.
