Elouan is the Oregon project of Joseph Wagner — the Caymus winemaker who headed north to one of the world’s great Pinot Noir regions with a clear vision: depth of flavor, vibrancy, and suppleness. Sourcing from across Oregon’s diverse appellations, Wagner crafts a Pinot that is fuller-bodied and more expressive than the typical delicate style, layering dark fruit with spice, earth, and a supple, polished structure. Each label in the series features artwork inspired by iconic New York City neighborhoods and landmarks. The Gran Reserva Guarda Superior is Oscar's prestige Cava selection: a 2018 vintage Brut Nature crafted from the three classic white varieties of El Penèdes — Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada — fermented separately and aged a minimum of 48 months sur lattes in the traditional Champenoise method. Guarda Superior is Cava's highest quality tier, reserved for wines aged at least 18 months — this wine more than doubles that requirement, delivering a level of complexity and autolytic depth that rivals wines at several times the price.
