Domaine Le Galantin is one of Bandol’s most authentic and quietly revered estates — a family domaine farming southwest-facing hillsides of clay and limestone in the heart of Provence’s most serious appellation. Their Bandol Rosé is the benchmark for the style: structured, complex, and built to age in a way that most Provençal rosés simply cannot. Blended from approximately 62% Mourvèdre, 21% Cinsault, and 17% Grenache — all hand-harvested — it is vinified with meticulous care: a two-day cold soak at 5°C to extract fruit and aromatics, cool fermentation with blocked malolactic, and bottling no earlier than March 1st as required by Bandol appellation law. Bodegas Señorío de Líbano Castillo de Sajazarra Rioja Reserva 2019 750ml The headquarters of this winery is nestled in the picturesque village of Sajazarra, a true gem of a town in La Rioja, Spain. This Reserva blends Tempranillo, Graciano, and Garnacha. Aged 24 months in French and American oak barrels and further aged for 12 months in the bottle. In my opinion, this Reserva drinks more like a Gran Reserva with a nose that opens up with a combination of secondary and tertiary aromas: leather, smoke, mushrooms, and perfectly matured red fruit. The oak adds to the mouthfeel, and its well-integrated tannins serve as proof of why Rioja Reservas are always ready to drink without hesitation. This wine expresses forest floor fruit. Blackberry, blueberry, and raspberry round out the velvet balanced structure and in her finesse. Cooper Mountain is a pioneering winery in Oregon's Willamette Valley, established on the outskirts of Portland in the late 1970's.

In 1978 Dr. Robert Gross and his wife Corrine planted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on the slopes of Cooper Mountain, west of Portland. In 1987, the family converted an old horse barn on the property to start their own label, becoming early adopters to organic and Biodynamic farming practices in Oregon winemaking by the early 1990's.

Jonathan Cristaldi of Decanter Magazine writes 93 Points | This wine impresses with its richness, creamy vanilla, and buttery brioche notes on the nose—never over the top—building into a fleshy, layered palate balanced by excellent acidity, with a pH of around 3.4 and 6.2 TA. Candied ginger peel, rich citrus, and tangerine peel lead into baked pineapple notes on a very long, saline-mineral finish—a true crowd-pleaser, perfect with roast chicken and potatoes or roast pork. The fruit for this Chardonnay comes from Napa and Sonoma Carneros. Barrel-fermented and aged for nine months in a mix of American and French oak, one-third of which is new. Oklahoma-born and raised, Andrew Holloway began his winemaking journey as an intern at Rombauer in 2010. His talent and dedication saw him rise to assistant winemaker in 2014, and in 2023, he was named winemaker.

Jim Gordon of JamesSuckling.com writes 91 Points | This is a lush, ripe, relaxed classic with generous poached pear and peach pie flavors. Full-bodied, rich in fruit and spice flavors, with butter and caramel accents. All barrel fermented, with hand-stirred lees and full malolactic. Reasonable acidity and a super-relaxed texture.

Deep ruby in color with garnet reflections. The nose is remarkably powerful and elegant — an harmonious blend of fresh red fruits, spicy and floral notes, woody and roasted nuances. The second nose reveals cigar box, menthol, licorice, spices, and garrigue through a palette of ripe and slightly candied red fruits. Full-bodied and structured on the palate with a long, layered finish.
